Winner of the Times Travel Photo Competition for 5th December 2009

The picture Monsoon, Monks in the Rain, taken in Taungou, Central Burma, has won the Times Citizen Traveller Prize for 5th December and is published in that day's edition of the paper. A similar shot, without the two figures in white at the front of the procession, was awarded the Photo of the Week on the online critique site, Ephotozine.
